Star of David
I S R A E L

Some people think it's not important what you say or believe about Israel. But Genesis 12:3 says it does matter!

You may have noticed that Israel is in the news every day now. That shouldn't be a surprise. The Bible reveals that the last great battle on earth will be about Jerusalem, and the stage is being set.

It's unfortunate that most of the media does not present true facts concerning what's taking place there today, nor the true history of that region and its people.

As a gift, we'd like to give you a tape called "Israel," which will give you some facts about the tiny nation that God cares so much about.
See below for ordering instructions.

( You could fit all of Israel into Oklahoma
7 times! )

Some Middle East Facts

1...   Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C., two thousand years before the creation of Islam.

2...   Arab refugees in Israel only began identifying themselves as part of a "Palestinian" people in 1967, two decades after the Modern State of Israel was established in 1948.

3...   The Jews have had a continuous presence in that land for over 3,300 years.

4...   The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 A.D. lasted no more than 22 years.

5...   For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital.  Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity.  Even when Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

6...   Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is never mentioned once in the Koran (Muslim scriptures).

7...   King David founded the city of Jerusalem.  Mohammed never came to Jerusalem.

8...   Jews pray facing Jerusalem.  Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.

9...   In 1948, Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel (temporarily) by leaders of Arab countries who promised to get rid of the Jews.  Then the Arab nations attacked Israel. However, the Arab nations lost.

10...   Around 630,000 Arab refugees left Israel in 1948. (See #9 above)  Approximately the same number of Jews were forced to flee Arab lands due to Arab brutality and persecution. So it was technically a balanced swap, population-wise.

11...   Arab refugees were intentionally not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they went, despite the huge amount of land available for them in Arab territory.  Out of the world's 100 million refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed into their own peoples' lands. The Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey.

12...   There are 8 separate Arab nations. There is only one Jewish nation.  The Arab nations started all five wars against Israel. Israel defended itself each time, and won.

13...   The P.L.O.'s Charter (Palestinian Liberation Organization) still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel.

14...   The U.N. was silent while 58 Jerusalem synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians.

15...   The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.

16...   The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.  ( Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.)

Psalm 83: 1-4
(1) Keep not thou silence, O God...
(2) For lo, thine enemies make a tumult... (3) They have taken crafty counsel against thy people...  (4) They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more..."

In a speech before the U.S. Senate on March 4, 2002, Senator Jim Inhofe (Oklahoma) stood against world opinion and offered seven reasons why Israel alone is entitled to possess the Holy Land.

Sin-Consciousness

Man has a highly developed Sin Consciousness... a spirit inferiority complex... a sense of unworthiness that dominates him. This sense of condemnation robs him of faith in himself, in man, in God, and in God's Word.
This Sin Consciousness holds him in bondage and makes him feel unworthy to stand in God's presence.

One branch of the church has taught that after we are Born Again, we still have a "fallen nature" in us... the sin nature that came into Adam at the fall - satan's nature.

These people acknowledge the fact that God provided a New Birth. But, according to their concept, the only thing God could do was give us Eternal Life and forgive us. He couldn't take the old fallen nature out.
That is absurd!
It is not true!
It is not the Word!

2nd Corinthians 5:17 says, "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation:
old things passed away;
behold they are become new."
A man cannot be in Christ and have the devil's nature in him!
He is either in the family of God or in the family of the devil.

We are either New Creations, or we are not. We have either passed out of death into life, or we have not.

If God could not take the sin nature out of us when we were Born Again... if the merits of the blood do not reach this and wipe it out, then Adam's fall did more to man than Jesus's redemption did for man.
That's ludicrous!!

Man has been fully redeemed from satan's hold by the precious blood and the completed work of Jesus.
If you don't know what happened to you at the New Birth, you are probably living like a person who's never been Born Again-
in bondage to sin.
If you live a life of weakness and defeat, it is because you do not know what you are IN CHRIST !
