	One Very Important Thing . . . God laid your sin on Jesus in order to give you Jesus's righteousness. You don't have to work to earn favor with God. You've already got it! (Eph. 1:6) But in order to receive the free gift of forgiveness, you must believe that Jesus did take your sin and die in your place. (2 Cor. 5:21) God then raised Jesus from the dead after the full price of punishment for your sin was paid. If you accept that, you can come into the family of God. You can leave the kingdom of darkness where satan has been your lord; and you can now take your rightful place as a child of God! When you receive God's forgiveness, you also receive his nature. 2 Cor. 5:17 Don't spend one more night in the devil's camp. Come into God's family, where you belong! (Romans 10:9-10) Just openly say to God something like this: "God, I believe that Jesus is your son... and that he took my sin and died for me.   I also believe you raised him from the dead and seated him at your own right hand.   Right now I choose to receive the free gift of your forgiveness. I don't have to earn it. Jesus bought it for me with his own blood. Because of that, I can now stand in your presence with no sense of guilt. Wow!! Thank you!! Jesus is my Lord!"
